Late. Dr.A.D.Shide
Dr. Shinde was born on 27th March, 1934 n a highly respectable family in KASABA NOOL of GADHINGLAJ Taluka in KOLHAPUR district.
SIBER, Dr. Shinde’s Brain Child
Being a scholar in the field of Commerce and Management and having his own dream of what an ideal management education institution should be, Dr. Shinde took up a great venture of setting up his own institution called Chh. Shahu Institute of Business Education his own institution called Chh. Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research (SIBER) in Kolhapur. As the founder director, he laid a strong academic and ethical foundation with a social commitment to this institute. His hard work and value oriented direction made this management institute a remier management education institution specially in South Maharashtra.
The SIBER is a popular name even in Karnataka, especially in Bombay-Karnataka area.
An Educational Administrator
Dr. Shinde’s pioneering contributions in the field of education brought him important academic assignments. He proved to be a successful educational administrator in all these assignments, Some of these noteworthy academic assignments include Member, Executive Council, Shivaji University, Kolhapur; Dean Faculty of Commerce, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Shivaji University, Kolhapur; Member of the Academic Council, Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Rahuri. The various reforms that Dr. Shinde initiated during these assignments brought qualitative changes in higher education in general and commerce and management education in particular

Our role
Governors work with thePrincipal and the local authority to ensure that the pupils receive the best possible education. With the Principal we agree to the aims and conduct of the school, ensure that the pupils have a full entitlement to the agreed curriculum and manage the school within its allocated budget.
The role of the governing body can be summarised into 3 key tasks:
- Providing strategic direction.
- Being accountable.
- Providing support and critical challenge to the school.
Meetings
The full governing body meets at least six times per year. In addition, we have three committees, each with its own chair:
- Teaching and Learning Committee
- Health and Safety Committee
